On a better note

OK. That last post officially had the most comments I've ever had on my blog. I know many of you didn't want us to take it down, for reasons we understand. However, in her emails to both of us she seemed genuinely sorry and wanted to do whatever necessary to make it right. We've all done stupid things before. We figured 24 hours of public flogging was probably enough. One of the great things that came out of this was the overwhelming support and kind words we received from so many great people and talented photographers. Dan told her in an email earlier in the day that we'd take it down tonight so we did. I think It's been a good lesson for both sides. We'll be looking for a better way to protect our images and a couple of you offered some advice on some ways to do this. We'll have to get in contact with you. So....on a lighter note - Dan made a snowman with the girls while I was out of town with Skye. I thought the shots were so cute I had to share. I'll try to get caught up on posting several more recent shoots over the next few days. Thanks again for all the support!

You two are really great people. I saw and read it all yesterday, way to keep your chin up, and being mindful of everyone else. Great role models for your beautiful girls :)

I didn't comment on the last one because there were already so many comments...but I'm glad you got it resolved. That is some serious Christ-like attitude on your part. I'm very impressed. :)

I am very impressed by the way you turned the other cheek. Your work is awesome, no wonder someone wanted to "borrow" it. :)

Well, I missed the post yesterday. . . but whatever it was, I believe in forgiveness and I think that there is way too little of it in the world. Your right, we all do and say stupid things. . .though it sounds like this was a little more than that. . . but forgiveness still is the way to heal.
And, I love those pics. The snowman is huge so Dan must really be the man. Our snowmen never turn out that big.

Hey, that last post was from me, steph. I don't know why I didn't notice I was logged in as my hubby. HAHA. Oh well.

Love these pictures...it amazes me that your candid pictures are just as great as your professional pictures! Sorry to hear about what happened but I really believe you handled the situation right and I'm glad that you were able to get it resolved. It's so hard when someone else takes credit for your work because as an artist it is so personal. I'm truly amazed and inspired by you guys. You have it all and the fact that you were able to forgive so easily just proves how amazing you really are!

I just wanted to tell you that I have the code that is very easy to put on your blog to disable the right click and save function.
If you would like it, just give me a shout and I would be happy to email it to you :)
