catching up

I'm so behind on getting people their pictures, so I haven't edited Lyla's newborn pictures yet, but I think I have taken over 2,000 pictures and can't wait to share them.
Here is one that turned out pretty dang cute. I will tell you how you can get one of these sweet vintage headbands too.

This little sweet heart seriously slept though everything. Don't you love all of her hair. What a cutie!

Lyla Rose

Little Lyla was 4 days old when we took these, can I tell you how easy it is to get a baby to sleep through anything at 4 days. I wish every mom felt good enough to come when their babies are that tiny.
Skye came over and we tried some natural light. It was just fun trying something different when it's your own baby and it doesn't matter if they turn out. I think we got some pretty cute ones though.

We are so excited to have little Lyla! I can't believe how much I am in love with her already. She has been the best baby ever so far. The c-section was fabulous, way better than last time, I'm feeling great and ready to start editing every ones pictures that have been patiently waiting. Thanks for everyone's love and support!

Lyla Rose is Here!!!

Just a quick update. We had our baby girl yesterday morning at 8:15am. Lyla Rose weighed in at 6 lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long. She has dark brown hair. Katie and baby are both doing great. I'm not totally sure but I think we'll be taking some pictures of her at some point. Uh... actually we'll probably take about 10,000 pictures in the first 2 weeks. We'll get some posted in a couple of days.
